Johnny Mullins

John Mullins, 1909 - 2001

Johnny Mullins was born in Clonmel in Co. Tipperary on 4 June 1909 to John and Johanna Mullins née Donegan.

At a young age, Johnny emigrated to London, where he married Evelyn Bartlett in 1937.

After the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939, Johnny enlisted in the British Army in the Royal Armoured Corps. Over the course of those years, Johnny spent time in both Burma and in India.

On returning to London after the war, he worked for the Royal Mail. He died in London on 23 December 2001.
